African Shea Producers Urged to Focus on Quality

I was asked to give a presentation at the Shea Financing Workshop in Nigeria, on US companies concerns when purchasing Shea butter directly from Africa. My presentation was based on my own personal experience and information I had gathered on various discussion boards.

The 5 major areas of concern identified were:
1. Consistent Quality of Product
2. Finding reliable supplier in Africa
3. Timely delivery of product
4. Traceability
5. Certification
