In an interview on CBS News, Jamila White owner of j Blossom, a line of Natural based bath and body products designed to encourage young girls to feel good on the inside as well as on the outside, spoke out about the unintended consequences of the FDA Globalization Act. This Act will force many independent natural bath and body care manufacturers out of business because of the fees and paperwork. If that happens, customers who love the products lose because they will have far fewer choices and higher prices.
The outcry against the FDA Globalization Act continues to gain momentum as small business owners make their disapproval known. The average consumer can relate to this outcry because they are either small business owners or want to start a small business. If we are able to get through the red tape and get this Act amended, it will be great victory for small business owners everywhere
